Armored Joint BE-FAJS6Engineered for high-performance industrial flooring, this Armored Joint system is a prefabricated, permanent formwork and expansion joint solution designed to protect concrete slab edges from impact damage caused by heavy wheeled traffic such as forklifts and AGVs. The system integrates heavy-duty steel arris armoring, a permanent formwork, and a load transfer mechanism to create a durable, free-movement joint. The steel edge profile, available in sinusoidal or straight designs, effectively guides transportation equipment smoothly over the joint area while preventing edge chipping and spalling.This armored joint system allows the concrete floor to expand and contract freely in response to temperature changes, thereby controlling and preventing random cracking across large slab areas. It acts as a permanent formwork during construction, eliminating the need for traditional formwork removal and significantly reducing installation time and labor costs. The built-in load transfer system, featuring dowel bars and sleeves, ensures even load distribution across the joint, preventing vertical displacement and maintaining a level, high-performance floor surface. Suitable for warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics centers, and other heavy-duty industrial environments.
